kandinsky vision
«Kandinsky Vision» is mainly devoted to the visualization of Kandinsky's color-line-relationships of his art historical publication «Point and Line to Plane» (1926). It assigns horizontal, vertical, diagonal and free lines to one or more colors, based on their effect, which according to Kandinsky they possess in relation to the surface area.
Kandinsky's color-line-assignment is interpreted in the experiment and used as a basis for translating an imported image (static/moving) or the live image of a video camera. The algorithm analyzes the color of the pixels in the source material, translates them into a line style, and then re-visualizes the original pixel arrangement.
